“Vinyl” will be included in the 2021 Salmagundi Summer Exhibition.

Variety and diversity are the hallmarks of the “SCNY Summer Exhibition”, an annual event open to all Salmagundi artist members. Taking its cue from the “mixed bag” characteristics of real life, this exhibit will show a variety of high quality paintings, sculptures, graphics and photography.

The focus is to display not only the wide range of artistic techniques, but also to spotlight each artist’s own personal expressions and unique aesthetic vision.

The exhibition runs from:

August 9, 2021 – August 27, 2021

Monday to Friday, 1PM – 6PM
Saturday & Sunday, 1PM – 5PM

Brooklyn Swings 2018 Show

Jive Party at the Back Room

The painting series that was inspired by the New York City partner dance scene will be on display at Brooklyn Swings, for one night only, on Friday November 30th starting at 7:30. Come see these paintings (some shown for the first time) then dance on the social floor with many of the people who modeled in the series.

Brooklyn Swings will have a movie or solo jazz lesson starting at 7:00, before the social dance floor opens up at 7:30. Brooklyn Swings’ Friday night social is located on 231 Ainslie Street, Brooklyn, NY. It’s two blocks away from the Graham Ave. stop on the L subway line.

For more information on the dance itself visit their website, here.

Art Guild New Jersey show

I would like to extend a very fond farewell to the 1670 Irving Street home of Arts Guild New Jersey in Rahway. It has helped this great organization serve the art community for over a decade. The Guild will continue to live as an online entity for now, as it plans to relocate to a new location.

I would also like to thank AGNJ for including my painting “Going Out”, in the 2016-17 NEXUS show which opens on September 11 2016.
